Data Retrieval |
The Previous Page and Next Page buttons at the foot of the output form (HTML, ASCII, CSV and TSV formats) enable you to navigate incrementally between output pages when the total number of records returned by a query exceeds the page size as set by the parameter Show in the Query Form. For HTML output, it is generally more efficient to page large queries into several small pages (Show set to 50 or 100 records) than into fewer large pages (250 or 500 records).
The Query Form button returns you to the default query form, and the arrow icon returns you to the top of the output form.
- FEROS: The FEROS instrument is a state-of-the-art bench-mounted high-resolution astronomical echelle spectrograph with very high efficiency and large wavelength range, i.e., it covers the complete optical spectral region in one exposure with a resolution of R=48000. It is operated at the 1.52m telescope of the European Southern Observatory (ESO) in La Silla, Chile.
- ELODIE: ELODIE is a cross-dispersed spectrograph mounted at the 1.93m telescope of the Observatoire de Haute-Provence in France. The spectral range goes from 3850 to 6800 Å with a resolution of R=45000.
- SARG: SARG is a high efficiency spectrograph designed for the spectral range from 3700 up to 9000 Å, and for resolution from R=29,000 up to R=164,000 mounted at 3.5m Telescopio Nazionale Galielo in La Palma, Canary Islands.
A new viewport, centred on the input wavelength is created; you therefore have an overview of the entire spectrum and a simultaneous detailed view of a 50 Å-km/s region. The viewport is automatically refreshed for subsequent zooms (on the same or a new spectrum). Clicking Reset Panel clears, and returns focus to, the wavelength input box.
